The MID invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons who would like to give of their time and expertise to serve on the Board of the Muizenberg Improvement District. While this is a volunteer role, it carries weighty responsibility as the incumbent will continue to uphold the vision of the MID Board in maintaining accountability, efficiency and transparency relating to organisational and fiscal management. The Muizenberg Improvement District is a legal entity established under the City’s Special Rating Areas by-law and also governed by the South African Companies Act 2008.

Criteria checklist for applicants:

  • Do you have management-level experience in NPO Governance and Finance Management?
  • Do you have the time to devote to this role (you can expect to volunteer at least 20 hrs per month)
