At 5am on 16 July a lady was accosted and robbed of her mobile phone and wallet in Alexander Road. The Grit foot patrollers gave chase, took the suspect, a young 17 year old male from Steenberg, to Muizenberg Police Station where he was detained.
We commend the Grit patrollers for their quick response and want to encourage everyone to be vigilant.
