Muizenberg is one of the most attractive spaces to live and work in Cape Town thanks to its unique architectural character of the village, a vibrant beachfront, and public green spaces. And the National Georgraphic ranks it as one of 20 Best Surfing Towns in the world.
The MID collaborates with the City of Cape Town, residents, businesses, and other partners to landscape and maintain indigenous gardens on prioritised roads / streets, to tackle derelict buildings, absentee landlords and over-crowding of rented properties, and the ongoing development of our beach front.
Future environmental upliftment progress depends upon support from various partners, like Friends of Muizenberg Park, business and community volunteers. Please see some ways to get involved below.
